North Bay & District Multicultural Centre

With funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship Immigration, we assist and support newcomers and refugees with integration and settlement needs. We also have a satellite office in Timmins, the Timmins & District Multicultural Centre.

We serve newcomers from Parry Sound to James Bay and Mattawa to Verner.

We are a LGBTQ2S+ Positive Space that welcomes and supports everyone.

We serve the settlement needs of newcomers to Canada (immigrants and refugees) in the Districts of Parry Sound, Nipissing, Temiskaming and Cochrane.

Our services include:
- Settlement and Orientation
- Community Connections & Mentoring
- Interpretation & Translation (fee)
- English/French as a Second Language referrals (ESL/FSL)
- Permanent Resident Applications & Renewals
- Citizenship Assistance
- Social events
- Document Certification
- Employment Support
- Anti-Racism Lending Library

All of our services, except translations and interpretation, are free.

We also are home to the North Bay Newcomer Network (Local Immigration Partnership), HR North, and the Skilled Newcomer Career Loan Program.
