When someone you love is diagnosed with a mental health issue, it can affect both the individual as well as close friends and family including: parents, children, spouse and siblings. Family members most often become the primary caregivers to their loved ones. Nipissing Family Peer Support Services (NFPSS), understands how stressful that can be as 1 in 5 people will experience a mental health issue in their lifetime. In response to the family's need for education and support regarding mental health, NFPSS is pleased to offer Family Peer Support Services in the Nipissing District.
