YWCA Sudbury

YWCA Sudbury is part of the world-wide YWCA movement. We believe every person has the right to live in dignity, free from exploitation.

In 1952, a number of concerned citizens formed a Rooms Registry Committee to provide safe housing for girls and women in Sudbury. The first Annual Meeting of the Sudbury YWCA was held in February 1955. The Rooms Registry Committee became an organized YWCA

YWCA Sudbury, a registered charity and volunteer women's organization, is part of the world-wide "YWCA" movement. We work to empower women and their families to reach their full potential in body, mind and spirit through action, advocacy, community collab
